Our month at the condo in Toronto came to a close today and we moved to a different part of town. Originally, when we booked the trip, we thought we would take this weekend and travel to Quebec City, but it was just going to be too much of a hassle. So we’re still in Toronto … but in the Cabbagetown section. Cabbagetown is an area of Victorian homes and nice tree-lined streets. Our B&B here is comfy and close to other parts of town we’ve not explored too much yet.

Tonight also had a flash-from-the-past for Ryan. Walking through a drug store here, we found Pop Shoppe pop (that’s “soda” or “soft drinks” for those of you not accustomed to the correct way to refer to the drink). Pop Shoppe stores were in Spokane when Ryan grew up. They had great, creative flavors. We had to get one tonight, Lime Rickey, even though neither of us really drinks pop. It was tasty! Ah, memories from childhood.

Tomorrow, Ryan has a spa day (greatly needed), then we’ll explore this section of Toronto a bit more. It’s back to California on Monday night, so the trip is drawing to close soon.
