Today we celebrated our sixth anniversary. Our commitment ceremony was held on July 14, 2003 on Lanikai Beach on the Island of Oahu.

We celebrated this anniversary here in Vancouver and we had a great day. We took a leisurely stroll over to the Yaletown section of downtown and both got massages … what a treat! We then had a casual lunch outside (a bit chilly today!) and walked home via Robson Street (Vancouver’s fashion row) where we did a little clothes shopping. Once home, it was time to get ready for our dinner, which was a surprise to Clint. Ryan had arranged a personal chef to come to the condo and prepare a special meal for us here. It was a terrific experience, quite fun and very delicious.

Ryan had been working with the chef, Donnie Ungaro – owner of Culinary Ink, for a couple months. Donnie was very flexible and really tailored the menu to combine some of our favorite dishes and combine them with a bit of a Hawaiian flair.
