On Wednesday night Cully, Terri, Clint, and I all went to English Bay here in Vancouver to watch the first night of the annual fireworks competition here. The crowds were huge (estimated at 350,000) and we had to get there early to even find a spot. The fireworks were launched from a barge in the bay, just in front of where we sat. We decided one night of them was enough. It was fun, but not so fun that we need to do it for the two more shows that will be launched while we’re here.
