Those of you that know us well know that we try and get away for four weekends a year for what we call “Spark Weekends” … time to reconnect, focus on one another, and also relax.We each plan two a year. This one was Clint’s to plan … and he did a very good job with this one. 🙂

Laguna Beach is an hour and a half or so away, down in Orange County, and is one of the first places we traveled in Southern California together during our first year. Neither of us had been back since then, so it had been a few years.

Clint had booked us at a small inn/B&B … the Casa Laguna Inn. Set on the Pacific Coast Highway, it is close to the beach and affords excellent views. But, you never know with the weather at the coast if you’ll be able to even see the ocean. We lucked out, however, and had glorious weather the whole weekend.
