As I write this, the sun has just set and it is a warm 86 degrees. Wow, that feels just as nice to write as it does to feel the warm air, have the windows open, and enjoy the sounds and smells of springtime in the desert.

Our grapefruit tree is in full bloom and the sweet scent of the blossoms fills the air in our backyard.

Here you’ll see that our orange tree still has some fruit on it and is also pushing out blossoms for next year’s crop.

And our little baby lime tree is making a valiant effort with some blossoms of its own.

The bouganvillea all around the house is in full bloom. This one is at the front of the house, just behind an ocotillo that is putting forth some new green leaves.
